I called the store regarding a five piece used drum set that is there on consignment. The five drums include a 22 inch bass drum, 12,13,16 toms and a 14 inch snare. The website directed me to call for a shipping quote. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and responsive. However, the shipping quote I received was $600. I have packaged and shipped many drum sets through the years, and $200-$250 would be more than enough (I would nest the drums into two boxes). In addition, this is a music store which will have the boxes and packaging materials at their disposal from the shipments they receive on new drums. Plus, larger stores who are frequent users receive discounted shipping rates. I would suggest that they simply say they won’t ship large items. Insulting potential custome

They agreed, but said there was little room for additional adjustment. I then went to Tall Toad Music that same day in Petaluma and had them look at the guitar, without informing them it had been recently worked on. They let me know the guitar needed a neck re-set. It made sense immediately. That's the information I needed. I ended up trading my Martin in for a new Gibson right then and there. Why didn't someone at Bananas At Large (especiall
