Dr. Lahan has been teaching my 7 year old daughter piano for over a year and is a great instructor! He puts time and effort into planning each lesson. Lessons are tailored to her, include music reading practice, theory and music games. Each week we get a list of goals to work for in the upcoming week. Also valuable are the group lessons that help the students learn general music skills. My daughter really enjoys learning piano from Dr. Lahan and we have been very happy with her progress. We would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Lahan is a wonderful instructor! He offers a great balance of piano work, music theory, and ear training and knows how to pace the lesson to keep my 5 year old's attention. He gives detailed take-home notes from to help guide practice sessions. I am a music educator as well, and I can see how well-thought out his lessons are to maximize instructional time and to keep students moving forward. Highly recommend!

Since starting lessons at Lahan Music Studio, my kids have advanced so much in their piano skills and ear training. It has been amazing to watch. Dr. Lahan is patient and encouraging, while at the same time knows just how much to challenge the kids so that they grow and improve. He uses a variety of methods that keep the children engaged throughout the lesson. My 5 year old even wished his lessons were longer because he enjoys his time so much. I also love Dr. Lahan’s goal oriented approach to at home practice. This has made our practice during the week so much more enjoyable. The kids love working towards a goal rather than a time limit. It also makes it nice for me as a parent because I know exactly what they should be accomplishing before their next lesson. I really cannot say
