My son was Grant’s student back around the turn of the century. I enjoyed driving him the 45 minutes each way just to listen to each lesson! Glad to see Grant is still teaching! Getting ba ck in touch to mention a free performance of the PRESERVATION HALL JAZZ BAND at The Silver Spring jazz festival on September 6. The festival will run from 3 to 10 PM at veterans Plaza located at One veterans Place in Silver Spring. Preservation hall jazz band is scheduled to take the stage at 8:30 PM.

Grant is a great teacher and more importantly, a great person. I have enjoyed bringing my 12 year old son to him for drumming every Tuesday for 4 years now. Being a Baltimore native, he feels like family to us. Drumming and chatting has been like therapy in its own way. I highly recommend Grant.
