I have been a Melodious Studios student for about one year, an adult learning Celtic fiddle with Kate Hummel. My experience has been positive in every way! Kate is an inspiring teacher: warm, friendly, and always encouraging. While my original goal was to learn to bow a few Irish / Scottish melodies by ear, Kate is teaching me to understand the structure of music and, displaying great patience, teaching me also to read music. I look forward to my weekly lessons and always leave with a strong sense of accomplishment and some new challenges. HIGHLY recommended for anyone of any age and any level of experience having a desire to learn music. FIVE STARS and then some!"

We couldn’t be happier with Melodious Music Studios. From the very first lesson, it was clear that the teacher, Ms Hummel, truly care about each student—not just as musicians, but as people. My daughter looks forward to her lessons every week and has grown so much in both skill and confidence. The instruction is thoughtful, encouraging, and tailored to her pace, which has made learning piano a joy rather than a chore. The studio has such a positive, supportive atmosphere, and it’s obvious how passionate and knowledgeable the instructors are. I’m constantly impressed by the progress my daughter has made and, even more, by how much she loves playing. I highly recommend this studio to any family looking for high-quality piano instruction in a nurturing environment.
